The team looked at major forecasts by various institutions for the 2024 calender year. the team over-viewed economic data, interest rate forecasts, the FED, North American valuations and earnings, Emerging Markets tail winds, commodity markets, and Alternative assets, specifically looking at tail risk insurance and private equity.

MAAM's investment team hosted a webinar on December 11th, 2023 where they recapped 2023 and gave a forecast for 2024. The team went over the global economy, interest rates, inflation, debt markets, equity markets, and much more. The team gave their top investment picks and recapped a wild year. Joe Pochodyniak also went over the Alternative Asset Trust and what he sees in the private world moving forward.

Jean-Pierre is also a pension lawyer. He has written extensively on pension matters and is often called an expert witness before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance. For his work on improving pension legislation in Canada, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal in October 2012.
